I wanted to thank all of you who have visited my blog in recent years and read one or more of my posts. I’ve written 180 posts thus far and now have had more than 1,000 visitors.
As you know, most of my posts are about how to become saved and how a saved person should live, but I’ll write about other issues if I find them to be a stumbling block for potential believers. If you have a topic you’d like me to discuss, please let me know in the comments section (only I will see your comment) or send me an email at ssosborne5@gmail.com.
These are some of the main issues I hope to address in 2026-2027.
- Why did God seem so violent in the Old Testament? I’m not sure I want to follow a God like that.
- Why does God allow evil?
- How could God allow anyone who has not heard the gospel go to hell? That’s not right.
- Paul made it seem that women were inferior to men, especially when it came to preaching. Why was that allowed?
- What’s so special about Israel? Why were they chosen?
- Why did God not condemn slavery in the Old Testament?
- How could a loving God allow anyone to go to hell for eternity?
I hope you are a believer in the Lord and doing all you can to grow spiritually. There are many good resources out there to help us learn how to be saved and how a saved person should live. Some of my favorites are Charles Stanley’s 24/7 sermons, Southwest Radio Ministries/Church, and The Christian Worldview.
Thanks again!
