If you are a Christian and claim that Jesus is your Lord and Savior, then what responsibility do you have towards Him? What does He expect of you, and how does He want you to live? If you read this post, you will know (at least most of what He wants).
I used a “red letter Bible” to review the book of Matthew and identify every verse where Jesus spoke about how a person becomes a Christian and how a Christian should live. I then grouped these into categories and highlighted issues that stood out the most to me. Yes, this post is long, but think of it as a reference or checklist you can use to help you determine if you are a genuine Christian, and then how you should live (as a Christian) according to Jesus.
Note: I wrote this in a word document, but when I copied it into this post, it messed up the outline. As a result, I had to copy images of the document, which are not as clear to read. If you want the word document, leave a comment in the post with your email address (I’m the only one who will see it) and I’ll send it to you.
